DocMGR 1.2.3 is out with a few bugfixes and one security fix. All users are recommended to upgrade. DocMGR 2.0 development has started. It will have a redesigned user interface and some important API changes. A mobile app is also in the works. Stay tunes for more details!
1.2.2 is out with a bunch of much-needed bugfixes, including the dreaded Firefox 7.0 upload bug. Thanks to all the users for their feedback, and their patience.
1.2.1 is out with a bugfix for uploading files with non-Unicode characters in the file name.
After reading many complaints in the user forums about the import module, I rewrote it to be much easier to use. This release also contains a few other new features, a security fix, and some much-needed bugfixes. Changelog
Because installer issues are the theme for this weekend, apparently, 1.1.2 is out with another installer fix. The installer will also now throw more detailed debug information if there is a SQL error during the install.
Due to an oversight on my part, certain users who had been upgrading from older versions of DocMGR would run into an issue upgrading to 1.1. This is a quick bugfix release to address that issue. Thanks to poilwf for pointing this out in the forums.
DocMGR 1.1 is out with a bunch of new features and bugfixes. Finally added is the long-overdue multiple language support. Anyone who wishes to contribute language packs to me can simply email the files to me, and I will put them on Sourceforge for download. The english files can be used as a template, and are in the lang/ folder of the DocMGR download. Also added is a new HTML5 based uploader that uses the new File API. It currently only works in the latest Safari, Chrome, and Firefox browsers. Internet Explorer users get the older File Upload system.
Another big change is the replacement of the DSOFramer MS Office Control with one called "WebOffice". The original one was not being updated regularly. And when it was, it was very difficult for me to get the binaries and the source code for it. Weboffice is a free MS Office control that is still being updated regularly. The home page for it is http://www.dianju.cn/p/weboffice. It is free software, but it is not GPL. Because of that, people who wish to use the control will have to download it from the Dianju website and install it per the instructions on this site (It's not difficult). I'm not sure anyone even used the old one, though. There were some serious bugs and I haven't heard one complaint in the forums.

DocMGR 1.0 is finally out after what is was probably the world's longest Release Candidate run. You can see the Changelog for details on this release. One significant change is the removal of the Compatibility Mode requirement for Internet Explorer 8. On the downside, DocMGR no longer works w/ Internet Explorer 7.
Also included is the new DocMGR website, which will be updated continually as I move the remaining content over from the old site, and tweak the new site. Thank you everyone for your patience and enjoy.
